"Set in an insanely beautiful location, Barrier Beach Resort was simply wonderful!! All of the staff who work there were so friendly, professional and knowledgeable and made us feel so welcome. The rooms were perfect for what we required with extra touches, like having a sarong on hand, and pots for larger tea and coffees. Having access to stand up paddle boards and kayaks was brilliant, and booking trips was made so easy. A good morning from Milly the chihuahua everyday made it extra special. Exceptional!!"
A Beautiful Resort We Didn’t Want to Leave!
"This was our first time staying at Barrier Beach Resort for 7 nights and we absolutely loved it. Shaun and Janine, the managers, were incredibly accommodating, nothing was ever too much trouble. They create such a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere that you instantly feel at home and already want to plan your next visit. The staff were all so lovely and always happy, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Our meals were beautiful, and the location itself is simply amazing, peaceful, stunning, and exactly what you hope for when visiting Santo. After visiting Santo many times over the years, this is one resort we will definitely be coming back to. A truly memorable stay."

"Had such a good stay at BBR!! Great location just 20 mins from town, close to blue holes and an hour from champagne beach (highly recommend hiring a car). Rooms were nice looking over a beautiful peaceful bay. Restaurant was great and ate there most nights with awesome steak and specials. Staff were incredibly attentive, friendly and helpful. New managers Sean and Janine were super welcoming and accommodating. Highly recommend and will stay again."

"An idyllic relaxing resort with everything you need for a magic stay. Hosts Sean and Janine are extremely welcoming and go out of their way to cater to all their guests needs. Restaurant menu is extensive and resort staff friendly making it an enjoyable experience. Resort boasts a well stocked bar. Highly recommended"

"Our stay at Barrier Beach Resort was amazing. The location is absolutely breathtaking, with incredible snorkeling straight off the beach in front of your room. We did day trips to some of the most beautiful places on earth, but honestly we would’ve been just as happy spending every day hanging out at Barrier. The food was incredible, and the restaurant staff made every meal so much fun with their great banter and friendly vibe. All of the staff were so kind and helpful— nothing was ever a problem. A special shoutout to Sean and Janine for making us feel so at home :). Such a beautiful, relaxing place and we’ll definitely be back!!!!"

"My partner and I stayed at Barrier Beach Resort for 9 nights and we absolutely loved every second. Right from the get go all the staff were incredibly kind, helpful and made us feel at home. The beach at the resort is absolutely stunning, and not to mention you can snorkel straight off the beach! We also had a family of dugongs visit us 3 days in a row, swimming around us on the SUPs and kayaks which was an incredible experience. Special shoutout to Janine and Shawn for their kindness, attention to detail and genuine care. Would highly recommend BBR to anyone visiting Santo, we wish we could’ve stayed longer!"
